BIETC Certificate for GABON
(Bordereau d’Identification Électronique de Traçabilité des Cargaisons )

(BITEC Certificate Agent, BITEC Certificate Provider in India, BITEC Gabon, ECTN Certificate for Gabon, BITEC Certificate for Libreville)

Gabon is a country on the west coast of Central Africa. Located on the equator, it is bordered by Equatorial Guinea to the northwest, Cameroon to the north, the Republic of the Congo on the east and south, and the Gulf of Guinea to the west. It has an area of nearly 270,000 square kilometres and its population is estimated at 2.3 million people. There are coastal plains, mountains (the Cristal Mountains and the Chaillu Massif in the centre), and a savanna in the east

Gabon authorities issued a BITEC regulation in 2010.

The BIETC certificate must accompany all shipments to Gabon. And the absence of it will cause severe consequences and high amounts of penalties.

The BIETC is mandatory for all ports in Gabon. Including Port of Gentil, Libreville etc

What is BIETC?

BIETC stands for Bordereau d’Identification Électronique de Traçabilité des Cargaisons, which in English means Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN).

It is used by the authorities to track, manage, and supervise all cargos from loading to discharge.

It also allows them to have information about the shipment even before it arrives at the destination port.

It includes details about the exporter, the importer, the goods getting transported, the vessel name, the prices, etc.
