Guinea-Bissau officially the Republic of Guinea-Bissau. It borders Senegal to the north and Guinea to the south-east.
Guinea Bissau implemented the BESC regulation in 2011. It is mandatory for all cargo destined to Guinea Bissau. It is not needed for transit cargo via its ports.
CEE stands for Certificado Eletronico De Embarque. It is the same document as the ECTN certificate that means Electronic Cargo Tracking Note.
The certificate contains information and details about the exporter, the importer, the value of the goods, the amount of the goods, the vessel name, etc.
It needs to be obtained 5 days before cargo arrival to Benin

Bill of Lading: It contains details about the exporter, the importer, the weight of the goods, the shipping line, the vessel name, etc.
Commercial Invoice: It includes the details of the goods, the freight cost, the incoterm, and some other charges if there is any, etc.
Freight Invoice: This is only a required document if the freight cost is not on the commercial invoice.
Export Customs Declaration: Customs Officials of the exporter country prepares this document, and it lists the goods being transported and contains important details related to cargo. (Shipping Bill in India)
Tax Payers ID Number: Importer must provide it. It is also known as the NIF Number.
Submit the required documents by email or online.
Our team will verify the draft and file the CEE with Portal.
You will be sent Performa invoice.
Once the payment has been received, you will get the CEE number followed by draft.
Once you approve the draft, a validated certificate will be shared.
You must have this certificate validated five days before the arrival at the latest or the consequences will be heavy penalties.
The penalty in the form of significant regulation charge determined by the Guinea Bissau National Port Officials is imposed to the cargo owner.
Penalty can go up-to $2500 and detention and demurrage charges till the cargo is cleared by the buyer.
Cargo will not be cleared till the time the certificate is produced.
